Parents and guardians of players in the National 1 League have control over their child’s N1 App experience.

Download or Log In

The N1 App is available for iPhone and Android devices from both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Once downloaded, you will be able to log in with the email that is associated with your GotSport account. You should see in the “Family” tab all children associated with your account.

Getting Started

Parents should create their own account in the app, not an account for their child. Please update your GotSport profile with correct Email/User ID and correct birthdate for yourself. A blank birth year in GotSport for parents will result in the system defaulting to thinking you are a minor.

FAQs

How old do you have to be to create an account?
If you are under the age of 13, you cannot create your account. This is in compliance with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). Children under the age of 13 must appoint a parent or guardian, who will provide consent through their user account and become the person responsible for the child’s account.

How can parents control what information is shown about their children?
Guardians of players up to the age of 13 will receive an invitation to create their account and set privacy settings for their child. By default, player profile pictures are hidden and only the first letter of the last name is shown in the squad, match rosters, lineups, stats and the player profile page. If you and your child want their profile picture and full last name to show, check the boxes on the User Information page for your child in GotSport.

What is the process for creating an account if the child is under 13?
Please refer to this user guide for instructions.

For children 13 years and older, what parental controls do I have?
You still have the same privacy settings and controls described above, as long as your child-guardian connection is correctly reflected in GotSport (and then to the N1 App).
