National 1 League to launch robust mobile app
CHARLESTON, S.C. (Aug. 11, 2026) – The National 1 League will soon debut a dedicated mobile app that provides a robust match day experience and season-long benefits to all participants. The National 1 League offered sneak peeks to league operators and team administrators last week, demonstrating its features, which include live streaming integrations, digital ID checks, lineup management, match feeds, referee operations, and more. And, perhaps, best of all, the N1 App is free for everyone – leagues, clubs, teams, coaches, administrators, parents and players. US Club Soccer has covered the cost of the N1 App, as part of the National 1 League’s commitment to reducing costs and making the sport more accessible.
The N1 App is designed and supported by Sportswik, an internationally acclaimed platform that has created mobile sports apps all over the world. The app is integrated with GotSport for a seamless flow of data. Once available in the Apple and Google app stores, users will simply sign up for the N1 App using the email address they use in GotSport, and they’ll immediately gain access to this expansive digital ecosystem. By being more connected with existing platforms and data sources, the N1 App offers greater visibility to schedules and standings across the N1 platform, and it celebrates day-to-day moments on a national scale, like starting lineups, player statistics and game reports. Families and friends can easily follow their favorite teams and cheer them on within match day feeds and live streams, and coaches and administrators can keep watchful tabs on upcoming opponents.
The “how” is simple: team administrators gain privileges in the N1 App that allow them to continue managing their teams as they’ve always done. Now, that work – for example, roster management – originates from the N1 App but still flows to the GotSport system. In-game features, like goals, substitutions and cards, are recorded live during games, and those reflect automatically across the platform in schedules, standings and stats. App users from anywhere in the world will be able to follow games live and can be notified when games kick off, goals are scored, and more. If a team connects a live streaming device to a game, highlights are recorded, clipped and available within seconds in the match day feeds.
The National 1 League will require the use of its app for match day features, like digital ID checks and roster management, in the spring 2027 season. For the fall 2026 season, participants are simply asked to download the N1 App and start enjoying its features. More webinars and resource guides will be shared with league operators and team administrators in the coming weeks.
